Film making is usually done in six stages.
STAGE 1
DEVELOPMENT
This is seen as the most important stage, because without this the film can not go any further. This stage is also know as the starting point becasue this is where the name of the film is reviewed. During this stage is when the idea of the film is brought forward. This nornmally involves the screenwriter, along side other cast and crew members. During this stage a pitch will be written to tell all about the story/film.
Projects in this stage can languish for months, year, or fall apart completely.
STAGE 2
PRE-PRODUCTION
This stage is where the storyboard is done, script writing, booking actors, schedualing, booking location, sort out the equipment and many more. This is the stage where you spend a bit of money. At his stage, finalizing preparations for production go into effect. The confirmation of some key elements such as principal cast mambers will be done at this stage.
During pre-production, the script is broken down into individual scenes and all the locations, props, cast members, costumes, special effects and visual effects are identified. An extremely detailed schedule is produced and arrangements are made for the necessary elements to be available to the film-makers at the appropriate times. At some point in pre-production there will be a read through of the script which is usually attended by all cast members with speaking parts, the director, all heads of departments, financiers, producers, and publicists.
STAGE 3
PRODUCTION
This is the stage that most film makers love because that's where the filming is sone, meaning going out to shoot the film. This is also defined as the process of capturing moving images or videography. This process can also take a long time, depending on how the team cooparates.
STAGE 4
POST-PRODUCTION
This stage is where the editing is done, putting sound tracks and special effects is any are required and in some movies this can take longer than the Porduction process for example "the movie 300 took 2years to be fully edited".
Post-production is, in fact, many different processes grouped under one name. These typically include
DISTRIBUTION & MARKET
At this stage the film is send out to the world so that the people can see. As with all business it is an important part of any release because of the inherent high financial risk. Film studios will invest in expensive marketing campaigns to maximize revenue early in the release cycle. At this stage adtvertising is done. Most film budgets will be ranging from 200 to 250 million US Dollars and because of pirace these days they have to go for a global release. Their promotion on distribution can go through a variety of channels. Target audience are the centarl to choose which channel you can use. The major channels are newspapers, magazines, billboards, television, cinemas, internet and undergrounds.
STAGE 6
EXHIBITION
This is the type of cinemas the film is shown (mm / ah), how long it will be shown. There is also a special exhibition type for example IMAX. They also compare the success of the movie compared to the DvD's.

SOUND
When there is npo sound effect in a movie , it make it feel awkwardness. sound is what that bring the action and the effect in a movie.. there are two main aspect of sound are Diegetic sound and Non Diegetic sound..
Diegetic sound -are the sound from within the story. this are the sound that are within the movie and also play during the movie.
Non Diegetic sound- are the sound from outside the story, they are the sound that the character can hear , but the audience can't hear it.
There is no sound track in the beginning of the the movie sequences, when the door was open in the movie as the first shot, the door sound effect uis natural.it ound like there is a sound because of the mic using . make it more lound like is a sound use.
There is type of sounds eg. sound track, sound effect, theme music, Ambient sound,Dialogue sound and Sound bridge.
Sound track- this is the music chosen to go with a scene. and is can be classify under Non Diegetic sound. first in the movie . when the movie start , there is no sound effect . until when it come to a certain shot , when a sound came in sound bridge way. instrument is call (HARMONICAL) . (score) is the musin written for a specific movie..... not like sound track...
Sound effect- this is use to see more dramatic point in the movie. and it also added inpost production for the creating drama.. In the movie there is no sound effect , but a sound of the door open and close at the first shoty in the movie sequences. this is the help of the mic. the mic is use to brind out the sound dialogue from the actors to haer what is happening in the camera.
Theme music- is thew sound track which goes with certain situations or character. and this was use in the movie . when the girl was trying to play with the boy motion. The sound play in that shot goes with the situation the boy is in . and the girl pity the boy so much.
Ambient sound- this is a natural background music. and also a natural sound from the environment.
Dialogue sound - the actor or the charracter speech. (Intonation/ Accent.). in the movie there vioce are quite weak. there conversation was not finished well. this happened in many ways in the movie. it happened when the girl was talking with the boy about the door . maybe she should shut it or not. and also when the father of the boy was asking the girl about the boy situation that what he can do ,.. but they both reply him in unfinished way...
Sound bridge- This is when a sound track start in one scene and continue in another scene. it help in continuity . sound track which bridge across two scene. this can be see when the the shot of the man outside in the car and the boy with the girl in the room. the open sound in the car with the father ,show the anxiety of the father about the boy. because of the condition and also that he can't do normally the way other is doing . so is father was trying to pleased his son.... by taking him to the call girl house. T he sound bridge in the shot of the boy and the call girl . show how the girl pity the boy with the sound bridge that come in....she feel for the boy so much... because of is disability.

Analyse how the Editing helps to Construct the Representation of Disability.
The drama all start with a lady and a son and is father. the drama is all about a son who as disability and can do what other are doing when it come to pleasure , so his father help him out by going for a call girl. but am trying to do now is to find out the editing in this drama. and write about it . And there are lot of Editing taking place in this drama.
EYELINE MATCH-
This is all about when a shot A is looking at something and shot B is also looking at it. and it also a type of edit which cuts from one character to what that character has been looking at . in this drama there is a eyeline match when the lady welcome both father and son into the room. trying to asked that who is going to pay , the lady look at the father and and son . when the son look at the lady too. before he told is father what to do .. so there is a eye line match in the drama.

there is also a eye line match when the lady was trying to close the door. they boy was worried so he look at the girl and the girl look at the door like wise him trying to close the door. so there was a eye line match in that place too.
ACTION MATCH-
This is all about cutting on the motion, a device of continuity to make an action start in one shot and is completed in next shot. A shot that emphasises continuity of space and time by matching the action of the preceding shot with the continuation of the action. (For example a shot of a door opening after a shot of a close up of a character’s hand turning a door handle)
this happened when the door was open for the father the son to enter the door was open but after a shot of time the girl was closing the door .. try to cut in and out of the action. and also a match action when the man was carry the boy from the wheelchair, and there was a cut in and later show that he was down to the bed .. just cut out ...
GRAPHIC MATCH-
This is use to drawn an attention of two shot chosen for a graphic similarity. it can also be an edit effect in which two different objects of the same shape are dissolved from one into the other. this happened when the son was asking the father to show the shirt they are wearing to that he can see that they are wearing the same t shirt. and i can say also that it happened too when the father was asking the lady about what the son can do . they asked the same time just to show that there word from each other are similar.....
CROSS CUTTING -
The editing technique of alternating, interweaving, or interspersing one narrative action (scene, sequence or event) with another – usually in different locations or places, thus combining the two: this editing technique usually suggests Parallel action (that takes place simultaneously). Often used to dramatically build tension and/or suspense in chase scenes or to compare two different scenes. Also known as inter-cutting or parallel editing.
And this take places in the drama when the character are divide into two.... when the father is outside and the lady and the son is inside the room. so the edit in that was cross cutting show what is happening to the father outside and showing at the same time too what is happening in the bedroom telling us what is going on.
The shot reverse shot is all about in the drama the door lock and open again.... the shot was that the girl was locking the door in the drama and the reversed shot is that the camera took the shot of the boy didn't want her to lock the door .it tell through the boy face feeling anxious.....
JUMP CUT
An abrupt, disorientating transitional device in the middle of a continuos shot in which the action is noticeably advanced in time and/or cut between two similar shots, usually done to create discontinuity for artistic effect.
this show on the father doing a jump cut. because there is no relationship that is showing the state of the man. because he was worried about the boy and the anxiety . He didn't know what the boy want, but just want to satisfy him due to the disability of the son and have never feel the way some other do when it come to body pleasure.
PACE- The pace of a film is the rhythm the main events of your original script appear on screen. To get a more overview of the impact of different rhythms on a film, I would suggest you watch movies from the two extremes. If you compare a film by Andrei Tarkovsky to another one by say Michael Mann, you'll notice an obvious difference of pace. And the pace in this drama is being low . it generating the feeling or the mood . because no sound track there is silent ....
